OUR STORY

Our story  started out as a hobby in the backyard where I would make BBQ for friends and family. Soon, I realized that BBQ was something I truly enjoyed doing and wanted to share it with everyone. After pitching the idea to my wife(my biggest supporter), she was on board!

We knew we needed a name for our new business venture. I didn't want to name it after us. I wanted a name that would recognize the person who gave me this ability to BBQ, and that person was God. 

One day, as I was making BBQ and watching the smoke rise from the smoker, the word Pillar came to mind. I began to reflect on the significance of a pillar of smoke in the Bible. 

In the Bible, a pillar of smoke often represented God's presence among His people. And so, PILLARS BBQ was born.

Every time I make BBQ and watch the smoke rise from the smoker, it is a constant reminder of God's presence in our lives. Just as He led the Israelites through the wilderness with a pillar of smoke, He is leading us in our business venture today.

With PILLARS BBQ we are not only serving delicious BBQ, we are also sharing a message that is important to us, that God is with us. There's something incredibly comforting and life changing in those four little words! 

Our passion for cooking and our faith in God have come together to create something truly special.

Our prayer is that every plate we serve reflects our love for people and our devotion to God. 

As we continue to grow, our goal remains the same: to share the joy of BBQ and share the Gospel message of God’s grace.
